Huge thanks to all who sent in adventure photos. They are absolutely amazing and enchant the everyday. Entries ran the gamut from the imaginative to the savagely dangerous taking in survivalism, cooking with lava, pitching over waterfalls and visiting Chernobyl. There are heroisims and adventures everywhere!
Cocktails with Bompas & Parr September 2011
The end of last year saw the publication of Cocktails with Bompas & Parr.
Since founding the company in 2007 Bompas & Parr has flooded a Grade-1
listed building with four tonnes of alcoholic punch, created a breathable cloud
of gin and tonic and charted the complete history of food. The book aims to demystify cocktails and help you make your own drinks from whatever you have to hand. It details the secrets of sabrage, how to make DIY Buckfast and concoct ether cocktails. There's a host of straight-forward procedures for enchanting drinks, as well as larger punches to entertain crowds of thirsty revellers.
